I think you from a dig if you spray it out of the hole, he will probably SLOWLY pull away from you the faster you go from a roll but you still might edge him.

You will get him out of the hole b/c the juice and b/c the fox body suspension kicks *** from a dig. From a roll, it will probably be really close, maybe him edging you out due to the 6-speeds vs 5-speeds. If you have a T5 though, you are running on barrowed time and almost guaranteed to kill it spraying out of the hole.World class, T5Z, doesnt matter, its the case-flex that kills 3rd gear, not the gear itself. The case flexes and the teeth only mesh at the tips...you can guess the results. Those things are known to not like hard shifts into 3rd and i know with my setup and 4.10's...3rd can chirp pretty nicely, on slicks, your T5 will not thank you. Without N20, you will get killed after the holeshot though.

Should be interesting. Should be good when you jet up and I am actually launching. Textralia clutch and a real rearend and some 4.30 gears on a 28inch tall tire should be fun. I might be able to cover the first 1/8th mile like I cover the last 1/8th mile.

I never claimed to be an "expert" at anything. All i know is that all of the "experts" I do know have a LOT of blown up T5's sitting in their shops. The common problem after disecting the thing is 3rd gear teeth are stripped...And yeah, that sounds like an awesome drivetrain setup and you should have nothing to worry about there.

As to him losing without spray...all he has is exhaust/gears/MAF.

BTW, how do you like your Spec stage 2 clutch? I went with the King Cobra and it has made me happy so far.

Nice, thats some good driving/launch. Dont run him from a roll w/o juice then. From a dig you should really nail him with the bottle. My king Cobra does okay, I mean, no complaints, its "just a clutch" and it holds my hp level okay on street tires so far.

I guess I must have one of those bulletproof t5's then Either that or your experts need to learn how not to miss 3rd gear

I'm sure if you missed it right it would only take once to break alot of trannys, but as far as that goes, I have had my fair share of missed gears when I was learning to drive, trans still shifts like butter and I beat on it like a pimp beats a two dollar ***** And as far as the race goes, I think you guys will be as surprised as myself and superstocker that the ls1 didnt come around until the top of 4th from a 2nd gear roll..... both cars run hard for what they are. I can definetaly say that my buddy tylers car (bandit) made an ls1 believer out of me.

You've got a bullet proof trans and rear end...throw on et streets and you win! Afterall, he is only running 12.7.
