Boxer VS Z28
I was out getting gas last nite considering its back down to 2.50 a gallon and a Porsche Boxster pulls into the gas station and while were both pumping gas we started complimenting each others cars etc and finally he asks me if you wanna pull a quick race down one of the backroads that lead to I-84..
It was just for fun so I said to myself "why not" so I go and pay for my gas (20$) and when we pull onto the back road he starts revvin the **** out of it.. sounded REAL nice, but I new already though I was gonna pull em by a few car lengths..
So we get even and we'd start on 3 horns. On the 3rd horn he pulled half a car in front of me from 0-45 then I hauled *** a few car lengths on em and shutdown at 110. When we both turned on the on ramp from 40MPH we went again on 2 horns and I immediatly pulled ahead of em and shutdown at like 90 cause of traffic >>l
It funny because I thought Boxsters would be at least a little faster then it was, maybe he sucked at driving? ((Boxer only had air filter and tranny cooler.. It was an automatic)) I know they come in auto because my Dad used to have one in auto.

Was it as 'S' or a normal one? The S has twin centre exhausts the regular one has a large single oval one.
Also age dependant they are slow by muslce car standards. The early cars where way under powered, they did get a bigger engine and power hike a few years later. And the S' are OK for a small nippy sports car, but I think even the latest variant only has 250bhp and little torque. A well driven 05 V6 Mustang should scare a regular one. And a stock Fbody will easily open a can of 'whoop-***' all over a S.
Didn't even know they offered an auto for it, must be pretty 'normal' (read boring) to drive with it I should think.
Nice kill anyway

Wow if was a Boxster, even a Boxster S, you should have walked all over it. Test drove one when my mom was looking for a new car and honestly the manual boxster S was slow. It def would get walked all over by a stock LS1, nevermind a full exhaust, bolton, cammed ls1...either he was lying about his mods or it wasnt a boxster and rather was a carrera 4S, or a 911 turbo, or something of that sort. Either way good kill!
