burning out in manual

Default burning out in manual

someone tell me the best way to burn-out in a manual Transam

rev it up to 4500 rpms and drop the clutch....then hold the brake slightly, or you could try just slammin down the gas........

second gear works better b/c you get higher tire speeds.

Manual: Put the shifter into 1st gear. (Some people do 2nd, see what works best for you). Push the clutch in and rev it up to about 4k RPMs, then quickly remove your foot from the clutch pedal and move it over to the brake pedal. The idea is to use as little braking force as necessary to prevent the car from rolling forward. When you want to make your getaway, simply slowly release the brake pedal and you should start moving forward and leave some nice tire marks in the process!

anyone do the ole' 2 petal with one foot??? run the clutch and the brake with left foot and gas w/ right? i know it can be done in s10s but never tried in anything else..

Ive tried it. Thats how I do it all the time.

when i went to the track all i needed to do was rev it to about 2 grand drop the clutch and feather the brake a little bit of course i was running BFGoodrich g-force KDWS's not exactly the pinnacle of sticky tires the first time i tried burning out i revved it to about 2 grand dropped the clutch floored and it instantly red-lined bouncing off the limiter

I do the 2 pedal/1foot (gas/brake). 1 foot for the clutch. Works well, as you don't need to do a shocking clutch dump.
