Default Co-worker and GTI

He just told me this about 20 min ago. He was racing a GTI with his Nissan Altima. He just got the Altima so it's a newer model. He said he was neck and neck with the GTI till 110 and then the car didn't pull anymore and he was at 4500 rpm. He was pissed that his car was governed but he isn't sure. Anyone here know if the car is governed at that speed (110-115)? Oh and the GTI left him after that happened.

I did the searching and his car is governed at 115. So he got twice. Once by the GTI and then once by his own car.

when it stopped pulling did it kinda push him foreward like it all of a sudden reduced timing? or was it gradual, like it crapped out?? It's prolly governed at 112 due to tire speed ratings from the factory tire.

Depending on the year of the GTi. Mine pulled great (for what it was) all the way to 145. I had an '03 VR6 M6 car. Neat little car.

He has a 4 cylinder altima and was racing the GTI. He said the car stopped pulling and got pushed forward.
