Unless he sprayed it's bs.......

How do you figure that a cam with under .550 lift and mediocre heads are going to make 450rwhp??????????

On the bottle it's way possible prob with almost 470 lb/ft of torque.

Good Kill though.

On the bottle i believe it, also just because cams have a small lift doesn't mean they are a small cam. Duratation has something to do with it to.

isnt the 485 rating Flywheel power for the GT2?, so why wouldnt it be far fetched? His Z may also be a stripper?

it says it has a 75 shot but doesn't say he used it.

I know how cams work....

Figure this..... most 224 cams have about 575-580 lift. with some ok stage 2 heads like PPH and a stock intake manifold most only make a little over 400 rwhp speciallt on fbody's and there super restrictive Lids.

So even if it was a 224 cam with less than .550 lift it would make **** for power the stock Z06 cam has more than .550 lift.

Yeah the gt2 is flywheel hp 472 hp 477tq and weighs 3100lbs sub 4 sec 0-60, those are mean cars specially from a roll.

well I havent seen too many 224 cams with less then a .550 lift, I had a TR224 cam with .563 lift and made 378rwhp with stock 98 heads, im sure a 224 cam with some stage 2 ls6 style heads will make more then 420rwhp, more then enough to walk a GT2

exactly if it's under 550 lift it won't even be a tr224 it's like a GM hot cam or some other BS cam.

It's really hard to believe the car was making around 485 on the bottle specialy with a 75 shot that would mean NA he was making about 390-400hp.

Yea Im gonna call bs too since I am a huge fan of bench racing.

Good kill. I can believe it. I think the GT2s have like 460hp but thats at the flywheel. And your friend is probaly around 450 at the wheels(just and estimate).

Everyone must remember that anything can happen on the street.

so a H/C +75 shot LS1 shouldnt be able to out run a 475 fly wheel HP car? the LS1 with H/C is probably just shy of 500 FWHP + the 75 shot=575FWHP which should make him about 480-500 at the wheels. i think that is enough to beat the porsche if the guy can drive which it sounds like he can. and its not like he said he pulled 10 cars on him. he said 2 cars by 150mph. thats only one car length inbetween of the 2 cars. i dont doubt the kill one bit.

how the hell do you figure he's at 500 brake HP, If the cam has less than .500 lift he's lucky to be at 380 rwhp, no way in hell would he have almost 480 to 500 rwhp.

I had a fast C5, trapped 114 stock, almost 122 with mods and a tune. i know what it take to make power.

Were not saying he didn't beat him. i'm arguing the HP that Everyone is claiming for him.

He also has heads...he's probably making at least 400 rwhp. The cam he has may like nitrous and the 75 shot might be giving him more than 75 hp. Almost anything can happen on the street. I hope to see the vids soon.
