The mustang 05 GT weighs less than your TA, sorry to burst your bubble. They weigh in at about 3450 rated and 3550 actual. As far as who will win, I agree with the 1/8th mile being close. The 1/4 you should pull him though. He has a better suspension and gears than you to though. 3.55's out back and stock they have been known to pull 1.8-2.0 60's with a good driver and the stock 235/55/17 PZero's. Race him and find out. I still vote for the WS6 due to it being A4.

The new stangs are dogs. Slow as dirt. I got one to go on the street finally and tore him a new one. No problem taking him on a track. Eighth mile or quarter. The only thing to worry about IMO is the skills of your dad with a stick.

<used to work as a ford rep...had to memorize that crap. lol. And yeah, your WS6 SHOULD win, unless your dad is a sick man with a stick. It takes a REAL driver to get below mid 13's in those cars. Any idiot can do it with an A4 WS6 with a little practice from what i have seen.

My buddy and I were running around (he has a '04 GT M5) and an '05 GT M5 came rolling up and my buddy beat him and his is bone stock. Granted none of them could drive but I wasnt impressed w/them. Mustangs are quick off the line (traction provided) but our cars are better . euther way close race in 1/8 and destroy him in the 1/4

Their traps are not as high as ours, but 1/4 mi are somewhat decent and close to our cars.
