Could it have been stock???
Last night around 1:30 i ran into new bright red SRT-4 neon....we came to the light and he looked as though he wasnt interested...but he baited my *** big time. ..we took off as normal and i could tell he was building up his revs and boost in a low gear then he punched it.....i nailed it, dropped from 3rd into 2nd (A4) spun a little and by then he had several cars on me...he slowed down till bout 55....got beside him again raced again...same thing put 2 cars on me right away...then from about 85 to 100 i was gaining....hit about 120 and i was goin around him.....now my car is in sig...but i dont have the stall converter in, or spray on yet.....full bolt-ons....you guys think he was stock...are they that quick

There is always the possibility that they are stock and that your car isn't running right and/or you are not a very good driver.
However, the most likely explanation is that they where indeed NOT stock.
No stock SRT-4 is not as quick as any stock 'LS1' Fbody on a like for like basis. In reality you should have been able to pull them fairly easily if they where stock.

well, im pretty certain that my car was runnin fine, and if stock ls1's walk these stock, then my car with FULL bolt-ons should have beaten one easily....all heard was rev limiter.....and a hell of a blow-ff valve....

YEa as everyone has said hes not stock. I have a few friends with srt-4's, and when they were stock against my z28 when it was stock I would walk them pretty easily. Now with my full exhaust and other bolt-ons i can still walk them fairly easily and they now have ecu flashes, turbobacks, and waste gate actuators. They are cool cars that can be made fast but for one to pull on you it would have to be at least a stage 2, but probably a stage 3 or more. Good death and get the verter and nitrous on and find him again!

It wasnt stock if you could hear the blow off valve. I used to have one trust me the blow off valve is actually built into the turbo and on stock ones you cannot hear it unless they put an intake of an aftermarket one on the car.
