Default Raced Dinan S2 E46 SMG

This was against a M3 with the SMG tranny and the Dinan Stage 2

We raced 3 times, from a 50mph roll dead even for the first race till about 100 then we shut them down, second we went from 70mph i get him by about 1/4 car off the i drop back to about his door and stayed there till about 115, third time was from 70 again i pull the same 1/4 car and hold him there till about 110 then he even out and we stay there till 125.

pulled of at my exit he followed me down talked to him for a few seconds
real nice car, sounded wicked and he was shifting at 8k......

Cool, Guy and would not have been ashamed if i would have lost to him

The Vette in his Sig should definitely take that M3, so I would guess the vette should have definitely been faster, but I'd like to hear his take too...

I don't have the Vette anymore it was sold.... the vette has alot more TQ and with the 4.10 gears it was a beast on the street.

But the evo is fast in it's own way and it's alot more practical. besides i'll be looking for 500 awhp soon.

Now that's just a crying shame. Another LS1 techie goes for the rice. 500 awhp, practicality or not - to go from a vette to an Evo is just plain sad.

Additional Mod's to my little Hawk coming soon: Heads, Cam, 90M LSX & TB - shooting for high 400's rwhp and then doing the (??? hp) NOX shot - just in case I have a 500 awhp Evo wanting to play.

Went to a car show this past weekend. A guy had a SuperCharged / mod'd LS1 engine in a 1983 Porsche 911. He claimed 10.70's on his street tires (Eagle Goodyear RSA's). It was crazy.

Since when did we start racing for practicality?!?!?!!? Sad, next thing you will be saying is"You have twice the cyclinders that I do, My car gets better gas milage, man that sticker will look good there, Yeah that wing looks cool, got anything bigger?" Etc........LOL.

I Mean more practical for DD use, I commute to school and work in So Cal traffic the vette was fun but to make power i would have needed a huge cam and horrible idle with 2 of my friends have in there Z06's (wich the only drive on wwekeneds now and had to go buy new DD's)

It's a better gorcery/supply getter than the vette, i can take it snowboarding, i can ake more than 1 person in the evo.

The t04r (hks) is a 72mm turbo capable of over 800whp it a mean turbo used alot on supras

Better gas Mileage????? have you ever ridden in an EVO Fuel Efficiancy is Horrible.

Oh and thats 500 awhp on pump gas looking to get close to 750-800 on race gas. 40 psi is only a turn or the **** away.
