How fast is a saleen mustang 02?

How fast is a saleen mustang 02? I raced this saleen mustang had a mean sounding exhuast. Finally got him at a red light, and my car jumped in front about 1 car and maybe half. Then I seen him at the next light he gave me thumbs up and said he was spinning and couldn't get traction. And I do belive he was spinning a bit, I think he had a manual tranny while I have an automatic. Just wondering how much power the 2002 Saleen Mustang puts out and is this one supercharged, I know the Cobra is supercharged just not sure if the saleen is supercharged.

never ran across a saleen i couldn't beat when i had a lid and catback, but then again, i never ran across an s351, if it ain't the 351, go from a dig, u got him more than likely

They make both s/c saleens as well as n/a. The easiest way to tell is by looking at the badging, it will say S281 or S281SC. Heres n/a: 325 bhp 340 lb-ft. Heres the s/c: 400 bhp 420 ft-lb Depending on whats mods u have done these numbers should tell you what you raced.

Because I got a lid, foam air filter, y-pipe and loudmouth slp. Along with some suspension upgrades.
I told my co-workers and they honestly belive Im lying. They were telling me how saleens are race cars. I tell them it is what it is, but I pulled him by a car and I keep pushing while his car was in my rear view mirror.
The car had saleen on both bottom of the doors. It had a mean sounding exhuast. Also on the rear lower bumper it had a a pair of exhaust tips sticking out of the rear bump. And it was lowered too. Don't recall what type of rims but they looked stock, they looked like skinny 5 spoke rims. But this was at night, so i couldn't really tell which rims they were.

Nice kill.
My friends dad has a S281SC (2000) M5 Saleen and we raced each other about 3 times. each time i would pull about 3/4 of a car on him from a 15 mph roll to over 75,the farther we went the farther ahead i got.
This is when i was completely stock. I thought i could take him and he was SURE he would win.
He did not want to smoke off his fathers tires(and get caught,lol),can't hold that against hi,.

Either way, Saleens are made for auto-x, not really drag. They weight quite a bit too. I believe they run mid 13s.
