Ferrari vs Vett vs Yukon

Ferrari vs Vett vs Yukon OK here it is, the wildest/most pointless street racing story ever:
About a year ago a friend and I were driving down to PA to see a buddy of ours, we where driving my mom’s 95 GMC Yukon (yeah it’s a mommy mobile, but you can fit a lot of booze in the back).
Anyway… its about 11:30ish at night and we’re on the PA turnpike doing about 80mph in the middle lane, traffic is light. Then all of a sudden a brand new black Corvette drives past us at about 85-90ish (I think it was an 04 but my friend swears that it was the first 05 he saw on the road)… anyway right on his bumper was a screaming yellow Ferrari 355 spider. They pass me and the Ferrari shifts into the middle lane and after a few seconds they both hammer it (damn those Ferraris are loud!)
I look over to my friend and say “we gotta see this one” and I hammer it too and get up to 100 when the limiter kicks in, they’re about 1/8 mile in front of me doing about 110-120 (I think) when they come up on a 18-wheeler in the middle lane doing 70. They don’t even tap the brakes, the Vette goes left, the Ferrari goes right. I follow the vette down the left just in time to see them both shut down and get on the brakes, I shift to the center lane and wiz between them at 100mph.
Yes, I know that was a pointless story but I hope it brings a smile to someone’s face.

I think I myself along with many other car enthusiasts would do the exact same thing..lol
In fact it sounds like something similar to what my buddy and I have done before.
I bet it was still fun!!!

sorry... but im really not sure, heres why:
1. I was quite a ways back (comon its a yukon for christsake!)
2. The 18wheeler was blocking my veiw of the end of the race
3. Remember that $100 worth of booze? well we drank it all that weekend, so im surprised i remember the race period!
The vette won... i will err on the side of the allmighty bowtie

Found this VID at edmunds, go look at the F430 vid. in the last 20 seconds they do a burnout and at the end of hte burnout you can see that it wheelhopped like CRAZY!!

So if the Ferrari got stuck on an off road course would that to be unacceptable - ya know using it for something it's not designed to do, like a burnout.
Remember the reason it wheel hops is also the reason it corners like it does
