Default f'd up A4 trans still good enuff to wipe the road with a 05' gt

trans only has 3rd gear unlesss i manually shift.. a seloniod or a wire or something has come undone somehwere.. the parts are fine.. i believe the computer is not sending a signal to the trans for some reason, or its gone into safe mode staying in 3rd unlocked...

bout that time down a back road way off highway 25 in SC.. i ran into a black gt 05' who repeatedly dropped back and surged up on my ***.. i came upon a open stretch of rode a 1/2 mile later... and proceeded to slow down to 15mph.. he immediatley swung into the other lane, and with no signals dumped the clutch and tried to take off..

knowing i had only 3rd, i just ripped it into first... when i passed him i was still spinning.. smoke was blazing off the tires lol.. wish id had my camera.. put it up into second at it hit the rev limiter 4-5 times.. proceeded to walk him off pretty far.. shifted up into D about 5k to keep from tagging the limiter again, and about the time i hit 115 he was pretty far back in my mirror still churning that 4.6 along.. all i could see was tire smoke and his distant headlights behind me..

so i let out.. he proceeded to do the all to familar fly by as i was braking he was still acclerating and he kept on for atleast 10 more seconds afterwards.. prolly came close to the top speed.. oh well at any rate his car sounded and looked cool..

I just drove an '05 on Monday. It was automatic and I have to say I really like that 5-speed auto. It was quick, but nothing like the sensation the Hawk gives me. It was a beautiful car, but just not fast enough.

oh WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your heavily modified car just beat a stock car with a smaller engine and less power. Bet that was real hard to achieve.

why is there always someone who has to talk ****? this is not the "lets talk **** forum" the last time i checked. He killed a GT, it's not the first nor will it be the last time someone post a GT kill story. say "good run" or "good kill" and move on to the next one. ne ways, good kill man

Good kill. Yea, at worst just let these kill stories be a warning for someone who wants a new GT. Nice cars.....just dont wonder " I F " an LS1 will beat ya down, but wonder " W H E N " and how often. Good kill. I think they look like ***, and I drive a Mustang. 03 Cobra, though.

Nice kill, probably ruined that whole"i love my new car " feeling for the Mustang guy, lol.

After reading the post i got the impression that all the gears are there,he just has to shift manually to make everything work right.
