Killed my first LS2

Killed my first LS2 I was coming home tonight and ran across a new LS2 Goat. He showed me that he was game but we had traffic in front of us so we slowed way down to let the traffic get far ahead. He told me to do the three honk thing so I did. We went from a first gear roll and I got the jump on him even though I honked (it was like he was waiting for me to go). I went till the top of third and let off because the cars ahead were getting bigger in a hurry, but I had him by a good two cars. Luck as it were turned the light in front of us red and those cars that were ahead of us turned either way so we were sitting at a red light all alone 
. We talked for a bit and he said he was stock and I told him what I had. Then the light changed and we were kinda mid sentence so we went from a first gear roll again. No honk this time but again I got the jump and this time took it into forth for a bit and had mabey three cars on him. We stopped at the stop sign and I said I got the jump again and he said you still got me (which was cool of him). He complemented me on my car and I did likewise, but I was surprised I pulled on him like I did. He had a passenger which hurt him but I still would have had him if all things were even. BTW he had a M6 and my mods are in my sig. All in all it was a good race and he was a cool guy.

They are really nice, but they are fat, with his passenger he probably topped 4K # easily. And you dyno about what he does from what I hear/see. So yeah, sounds like you performed like you should have. Again, good kill.

Thanks guys, it was really fun because I don't run across to many other decent cars on the street. I always see them going the other way, but luck was on my side last night.

good job your dyno #'s are as good as a stock one plus you have a huge weight advantage. good job on the kill i've held my own against bolt on ls1's. its weird because everyone where i live thinks gto's are kings but ls1 fbody's are slow.
