99 Z28 vrs 05 GT Supervisor at work has been braging about is fast 05 GT.So last night we lined them up after work. I got him a car length off the line and pulled on him all the the way to 110-120. Had a bunch of people from work settin at a side road watching. Came in today he doesnt even have anything to say hehe acts kinda pissed but I'm sure he will get over it. So chalk up another for the good guys

Congrats on the kill. Theres a couple 06 GTs around where I live, in a small town, and they don't wanna run. They always say, "I'll run a Z but I ain't messing with an SS." I'm thinking WTF!

This guy is unbelivable h e is saying it was a very close race. The guys that saw it was horse laughing at him. At a 1\8 I had him by 3-4 car lengths.I need to get this on video!

I raced one at the track. He had Magnaflow catback and a tune. I beat him by .1 and 2 MPH. I ran a 13.2 to his 13.3. I usually run 13.0's at this track, but for some reason only pulled a 13.2 that run. He was M5 to my A4.....he pulled me off the line to the 60' then it was me slowly passing him up. Nice kill.

Not really if you mean stock. They aren't a WHOLE lot faster.
Isn't the C5 LS1 faster or even? I really don't know I am asking.
Or is the Vette not a pony car?

their capability in stock trim. That's way out of stock LS1 reach.

Ohhh.
I forgot about MPH. Yea thats ONLY 10-12mph faster.

So how is cobra then out of LS1 reach? Stock f-body can do 110mph with m6, so while cobra is faster I wouldn't say by that much.
I've raced against a few cobras at the track. They were slightly modded and definitely faster than my car, but not by much. 0.2-0.4 seconds.
