It was a great day! we had a gathering of over 200 people. CArs, Bikes, trailored rods! Something for everyone. I showed up with a full bottle of roach spray and an eagerness to use it. My first few races where not much to write about. Your typicle semi modded car that thinks its fast type thing. BUt hey they called I answered. I didnt even get to use my spray until later.
Well the driver of the som SS calls me out to race. his #'s are 440 rwhp 396rwtq. LG motorsports built a mean car for him. He is on street tire and I am on slicks.
So we line them up. I am feeling as though I have an unfair advatage because I had better rubber. He also made me ride his 200 LB plus friend in my car. He said it was to make up for the skicks. I think it was to make sure I didnt spray .LOL. The flag man steps out. I rev up. We launch. And I'll be a sombitch if he doesnt fall to far back. Then he slowly starts comin the entire way! 396ft#'s against my 476ft#'s. I drive perfectly as he does and he ends up a car on me at the end! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! How does that happen? LOL greta day.

LOL I did run him again with all the love I had! It was not pretty. And if he sprayed it was hidden beautifully!!!!!!!! But I have raced cars with the same mods na to na before. I walked them badly! He claims better flowing heads.LOL I neeeds me some of them!

He's pullin your leg hard man..........Its simple, you had over 100 more rwhp! Unless he lied about that or had a cheater nitrous setup. That don't add up. Anyway, your taking the loss well...........as you should! You have probably whooped up on many people.

Its simple Scott, he had to launch easy because of his street tires but hits second and sprays it when he can get traction and pulls on. Sounds about right with given hp on both cars.

Bullshit, the friend was not there to watch you not spray, he was not 200# either, he just looked that way with all of those lead weights strapped to him under his cloths, in reality he was close to 500#. (Hey...who knows...) I think the guy BS'ed about his hp levels.

I will not be so kind the next ime! LOL. I was cxertain my 408 would hurt the 346 even with peak hp close to the same. I looked and could not find any nitrous. Nitro dave has a hell of a setup called the money maker. I supposoe it is possible I fell victom to that. LOL either way it was a hell of a race. I ended up racing about 12 times and lost one. Even got another 408 SS.

Dang! This gives me hope for when I get my little Hawk's 346 built and look you up for my Dallas run. Only and always meant for fun. Needless to say, I won't lie about my mods or nothing. It ain't worth it.

none to post. The first part of the day was on the street. But so many peopel showed they opened the track when we called. No times. I am remedying the possibility of being beat by a NA 346!!!!!!!!!GRRrrrrrrrrr LOL! I am starting with new headers, under drive pulley, tune. Followed up by the fast 90 90 with a larger MAF. Then the direct port nitrous so I can squeeze an extra 300 on top! All should be done by the time I reach Dallas to meet with you.I Look forward to it.

You also forgot to add the extra 100 lbs. from your iron block on top of the 200 lb. guy. That right there gives him a 300lb. weight advantage.

**** happens, alot of factors could've played a part in the loss. taking it in stride is all that counts and you are doing that nicely.

good kills, as for the loss- maybe get rid of the fat *** and add in some timing, then race him n/a again and see what happens. a carlength ain't much and could've been attributed to the 200lb sack of **** in your passenger seat.
