2 runs srt4 and mustang

2 runs srt4 and mustang Well, it happened finally I got me a run with an SRT-4. Better race then the Mustang, *short but i'll share* I ran lol.
So Im going along after being followed by a srt-4 for around a mile,no noise out of it as it followed gave me some room normal driver I thought....
So we both are going to turn onto a 4 lane road, I take the longer of the 2 not thinking of it he takes the shorter. He never changes gears and is right next to me now at about 20.
We both just gun it me being in 2nd gear he doesn't gain just hang. We are neck and neck this little guy might be in the right gear and me not but neato.
I start pulling and get around 2-3 lenghts on him and hold this little lead. I think to my self damn that little guy scoots! 3rd comes no changes at all just increasing the speed. 80 I shut down and so does he hangs a few cars back.
That was great i'm thinking nice race little bugger lost but wowza it was one fun run! So a few miles this 4 lane goes to 2 I'm just cruising along and it comes.... The ricer flyby I hear the SRT pass me and then mashs brakes. He really proved somthing to me . I had hoped we lined up for a dig and so I could give him props. His exhaust looked stock so I asume he fully was.
now the Stang *few days before not worth alone but nice package deal*:
Same road going other way I run into a black 96-98 GT mustang Black with Cobra R rims and a exhaust of sorts. I pull up not thinking much of it tired from a day of work. I hear a rev and look over to see the 2 lead singers from *put boy band name here* no really I try not to sink the point of calling people ****** wiggers but well they were.
TC switched off I smile and rev back. I nail a great launch and the mustang is sitting at the light it seems as my revs climb I jump her into 2nd gear. The mustang is maybe a bus lenght behind me off just the 1-2 run alone. I am thinking hmm should I just give up and call it a win or really just put buses on this car? Well as the thought ponders I realized I'm still going and hard. I wind out 3rd and shut down at 100. I don't know if they weren't healthy or let off after my launch or what but damn they were slaughtered.

Ace$nyper- Good kill. You sure it wasn't Nick Lache? lol. Did you see Jessica Simpson in the back seat? If I remember correctly the 96 GT's had 215hp. Definately a big blocker killer.

haha yeah 215 wow. good kill lol! 96 was the weakest year of the cobra. but good kill none tha less. oh and watch out for those SS's they might just eat you alive with all that head beatin power

-MarkLOL. I actually talked to a guy at the track who hada 96 Cobra that had MSD Ignition, Intake, Headers, Full Exhaust and programming and couldnt break into the 13s and was only trapping 99 mph. He was asking what was done to my WS6 to make it run low 13s @ 108+ mph and was blown away when I told him it was basically stock.

Nice kill, that was the worst year GT ever...
BTW try going over to SVTP and tell them there 96-97 Cobras are slow, I did and what a war that turned out to be next thing ya know everybody with a "stock" 96-98 Cobra was running 13.6 @ 103....LMAO!
