Damn i got another race in last night. Well i was coming back from Denny's last night and spotted an 03-04 cobra going in the same direction, so when we come to the light, he looks at me with a grin and revs it. Me and my friend look over and see that it is a guy in about his mid 30's with his wife. So my friends rolls down the window and tells him what does it got, and the guy says enough to take you, so my friends like you want to put some big bucks on it, and this guys like lets just see what it has. So we take off at the light and im only 1/2 throttle so tires wont spin and when i get about to 35 i stomp on it. My tires break loose for a good amount of time and when i look back im about a good 7-8 cars on this guy. When we finally get back to another light, his wife wont even look towards my car and my friend was like damn you really took us So he asks me what i have i lie and say just a stock motor with bolt ons and laugh. So he now wants me to come out tmw night and race one of his buddies in a 69 Nova, i told him i wouldnt do it less for than $500, and he said that he would put up the $$$. So tmw night i got a race and have to meet this guy and his buddy. Time for my Mickey Thompsons to come out. Hopefully that Nova isnt doing low 9's or im screwed. I should be doin about 9.4's so we'll see what happens.

I know of some sick cars around Gilliam where I live that would hand you your ***. But most of them like you say are not street driven (I hope). So I think you have a good chance, who the hell can keep a nova insurable w/ that junk dont to it? I dunno, sounds like yer about to be $500 richer. Good luck, get a vid of it.
