Well here I am again posting a kill and getting killed. Well my friends car is a 98z28 with a 2500stall,slpmuffler and obligatory intake. I ran him first in my 02wrx auto full exhaust and tune. I launced my car at about 5-7psi of boost and to my suprise he was next to me and pulling, I knew that once he hooked he'd be gone. We raced again and I could not launch as hard and he still had me by at least 3 car lengths . I needed revenge and had to go home and get my t/a. I returned with avengance and lowered my 315/35/17 nitto drag radials to 16psi. I staged and did a good burnout with the linelock. I staged and reved up to about 2500ish and eased on the gas then nailed it and hooked well with minimal spin. I ended up winning by his nose to my rearend of our cars. The second time I did an even bigger burnout but stalled up to high and when the flagman dropped his arms I ended up spinning quite a bit and when I hooked so did he and it was the same result his frontend to my tailend. All in all it was a good night of racing since I don't think I broke anything and we did not get caught and since he is a friend it was cool.

I have a buddie with a wrx and I want to run him. He doesn't have to much done, atleast I dont think he does, I'm pretty sure hes at stock boost, he has some exhaust and itake stuff done so I think it would be a good race. I'm pushing 382 to the ground right now so what do you think.

If he has a regular WRX and not an STi then you will murder him. Stock WRX's I've seen are mid to low 14sec cars. With an exhaust and intake he might be low 14 to high 13. Unless he has it tuned the mods aren't going to add very much.

exactly I am an auto but with full exhaust and computer tuning I made a best of 13.7@99.5 before computer tune and I don't think it made that much of a difference. You should win with that much power I made 339 in my t/a when I beat the same camaro. Just don't get that annoyed if he leaves first remember you WILL track him down just keep your cool and don't wheel spin the hell out of your t/a. good luck.

I've only ran 2 sti's , to my advantage they were both hwy run.Both races happend when I lived in Sacramento.Anyway silver sti pulls up next to me and wanted some so I down shifted to 4 th and mashed the pedal and the sti , we went from 60 to 150 + (well I went 150 +) I raped him without the courtesy reach around . I shut down when I saw that he was a little speck in the mirror and waited till he pulled up , he told me that he ran 13's and was completely stock. It wasn't fair race since I'm at a bpu +++ level . I would love to have an opportunity to run against modded wrx, sti or even evo's , from a dig I would imagine they would tear me a new one unless it was a 1/2 mile + race . how would my car do against a stock STI? 2001 long tubes, y, hookercatback, u/d pulley and tune? im guna get my car dynoed hopefully in a few weeks
