I left my house and made a left onto the main street and as i'm reaching the second light up I see corvette headlights up ahead. As I get closer I notice that it's a C6, now i'm still stock except for a lid and a JET chip (I wish I still had stock) so I wasn't expecting to win..But as I pulled closer I looked at the side and noticed the gunmetal grey Z06 rims followed by the Z06 badge on the side and OMG was thing car beautiful. It was a very young guy and his buddy in the car so I'm guessing he worked at a dealership or was driving his dad's car but you never know. So I didn't even rev at him at the light but I knew he was game because I could see them looking at my SS and talkin to eachother. The light turns green and we both ease into it and then we both punch and he just jets away like I forgot to put my car in gear, he probably had 1 1/2 cars on my by the end of first where he shut down..We did this a couple more times with the same results except for when I actually rev'd and launched it was slightly closer but still by far my favorite death (I haven't had many) I think I creamed my jeans when I heard that LS7 hit it's hot spot and squat like a pissin' dog.

Please correct me if I am wrong but a F-Body will loose to a C5 Corvette 9/10 times. There is no way a F-Body let alone a stock one stands a chance against a C6 with the LS6 in it. I think they run about a 12.5 stock if i am correct.

sorry C6=LS2 C6ZO6=LS7, and the ZO6 runs high 11's. Good death though.

C6 doesn't come with LS6 motor, it comes with LS2.

C5 Z06 comes with LS6.

Not a bad way to die. Lol. Those cars are amazing. 11 sec car from factory and i heard it reaches 60 in first gear.

Nice death, I havent seen a C6 Z06 yet on the road but saw one on the dealership floor near my house and its absolutely beautiful. Also yea c6 has an ls2, c6 z06 has ls7, and c5 z06 has ls6. BTW ditch the jet chip as I havent seen/heard of a chip yet that works well for an ls1.
