Another Z-28 bites the dust! I was cruising along the 580 when I see him mashing up from behind. I can instantly tell it was a LT1 from the front end. As he passed me I get a good look at his ride and a sample of his crazy loud fireball making exhaust! 
His car was a metalic pea green color, stripes on the side, sitting on 20 inch wheels, black (or carbon fiber?) ss hood and 69 style z28 badges.
So here he is revving the **** out of his car egging me on...I couldnt resist, even though he had a crazy loud car that shot fireballs out of the exhaust. So we go from a 90mph roll. I'm in 4th at about 3800rpms...his car is so loud I could barely hear mine
I let him get the jump and I still instantly pull a car and stay there until 115mph. He keeps going after I hit the brakes and I can see the fireballs exploding underneath his car 
We line up again at a 65mph roll. I'm in third gear this time. He gives me the jump and I instantly pull a car and then slowly inch away from him.
Then I slowed down and he smashed off! nice races though...I really liked that exhaust note.
I'm thinking his LT1 was maybe heads/deffinatly cammed with dumped true duals.

well if he had heads and cam he should have beat u ..even if he had just a cam it should have been a little bit more of a struggle with just ur mods...or he could just not know how to drive...either way nice kill...sounds like it was a ricey camaro anyway

I didnt have trouble walking away from (stock) LS1s up top before I got my CC306 put in. (I didnt even have headers..just a bunch of bolt ons). Its not that hard to make up the MPH deficit. Of course Ive seen some people with H/C/full exhaust, every bolton on the face of the earth only run low 13s at less than 110mph so it just depends on the car.
