Race tomorow... Need help... I am racing a 1978 Datsun 280z with a OEM L28ET inline 6 turboed motor. We are racing from a launch. I am not sure on the size of the turbo, and the guy said it had exhaust/ignition work. What should I watch out for? Who do you think will win (I know it is hard to say due to not knowing the turbo size). My car dynoed 334rwhp. Also we are both using street tires, Should i use my stock 245's on my stock rims or the 275's on my new rims?

use the best you got, thats like asking "Should I launch hard, or should I go soft?" YOu dont race at 3/4 throttle, give er all she's got!!! and no, i doubt you will lose unless he has O ringed the block or something and has lotsa boost.

we had a pair of Azenis 275' on an LT1 (built) at our dealership that wouldnt stop spinnin till around 85 mph. Then again, the car was around 400rwhp and the heads were flowing around 285 cfm intake side...all in all, the tires did pretty good, even on hard shifts, i would say run em'

As for the race well i took him from the launch and got totally fucked high end. Totally the opposite of what i was expecting... Ill upload the vid tomorow. It was a good race though.
