Default Rocked some kind of AMG Benz tonight

So I finally got the converter broken in and have been 'experimenting' with it all day, and after the whole day I have the regular driving figured out, but thats no fun. So, the story, this evening me and my friend went go study at IHOP, and left around 10:30 to head back to my house, IHOP is about 3 miles from my place so its not far, but I get about halfway home and I see some tail lights dodging traffic etc. so I decide to play catchup, after getting screwed on 2 lights not being able to get next to him and one going green as we were slowing down I decided to get next to him. As soon as I did he started to speed up not wanting to go, so I give him a little learch and he decided to stay at my side, even though we were going 55 in a 45 before anyone punched it. Anyway he punches it and jumps about a car since I had no downshifting, but it stalled up fast after a second or 2 and I started reeling him HARD, I put about a car or 2 on him and he shut it down. I turn right at the coming stop sign to go around the block and get back to my neighborhood, as does he. So I sit at about 30 and he gets next to me, we both go and I left him with an easy 3 or 4 cars between us. Then he flicks his signal on and turns. Was pretty fun, and my first race with the stall, I was REALLY nervous, but it was awesome. Weird thing is I cannot figure out exactly what it was. All I could see was the AMG badge on the trunk, and I 'think' it was an E55, but it was a 2 door so I couldnt tell. It wasn't anywhere near as small as a CLK so I cant figure it out. Had the seperated headlights too, some kind of halogen. Fun though.

definately wasnt an e55, and i can testify that from a roll, you wont spank one that bad. as far as two door, it had to be a clk, because slk's are even smaller. probably an older (late 90's early 2000's) clk 55 judging by your two headlight comment. still a good kill anyway, those puppies pack around 300 horses (non super charged v-8 and a bulletproof 5 speed auto trans.

I believe they have the same 5.5L motor that came in the E55's; The earlier model that didn't have the blower. It's still not a slouch since it has a potent motor in a smaller/lighter car. That's what the German's did to their DTM race cars. They run CLKs now.

Nice kill.

I dont think it was a CL my dad has a CL500 and his looks nothing like this one, the AMG CL they have has duals, this one had the one out to the drivers side, after looking at pictures I'm sure it was a CLK55. It was fun though!
