ford owner braggin this isnt a race/kill but its about braggin rights i guess...i went to the local gas station to go fill her up and its havin trouble idling so i tap the gas and it goes up to 1500 which makes some noise for the exhaust i have....this guy drivin a 2500HD z71 tells me my car aint ****...i nod it off like whatever, think its slow all you want....he asks what motor is in there a 350 i said well...no 346 (stock sizes are 346 right) he tells me i dont know **** and says he wants to race for pinks...at this point im laughin cause his truck is stock so i figure hes gonna tell me a story....sure enough i show him my sc and the somewhat stock lookin motor and he proceeds to tell me about this 9' mustang hes got....i said "well my cars pushin 14lbs i dunno why its only 12lbs and he says "i run 9s" i never seen this 9' mustang b4 so im like thats pretty quick....you never know he might have 1....well anyways the moral of this story is, or at least the question is why do people do this? i can respect a 9' car for what they did to it but when the driver is arrogant and rude then it makes me uneasy....i dont go talkin up a storm about my car cause i KNOW there are a cubic *** ton cars faster than mine...mines just enough power to run a decent 1/4 and still gets over 300 miles a tank....i just dont like the ignorance... not so much like hes dumb but people that always have to 1 up everyone else....i see it at work CONSTANTLY people wanting attention....im going to sleep....this is just me venting i guess

lol.....im not 1 to engage in arguements over vehicles though...if they were misinformed about something ill let them find out their own mistakes....he definately changed his tune though when he looked under my hood....unless he was tryin to check out the competition....either way im no pro at drag...hell i ran 13.2 with a sc ls1 pushin 440rwhp on street tires....we'll see when the track opens in april

Yeah, people with big heads do that all the time where I'm from. I consider my car a sleeper; the last 5.0 I raced said I wasn't ****, and also got his *** handed to him. Then he said he was going to put a gear and a cam in it then come looking for me, that was a year ago and I havn't heard him since. The best facial expressions I have ever seen came from people that are big headed, If you havn't already, check out what happened to me a couple of weeks ago. It's in this board under "best kill to date". And you will see how aragant people are in Nashville.

That guy is dumbass. WTF doesnt know about the 346? People who dont know jack. Everyone has a single digit car in their garage. Nobody seems to at the strip or on the street. I think it was on these boards a awhile back that someone mention a chick with fricken Del Sol who claimed she ran 11s on 7 psi. She used her Gtech as proof LMAO.
This guy is no different. Although he might be mentally challenged and armed, so maybe just stay away from him.
