Default 01 WS6 vs. SRT-8 Charger

Anybody had any experience w/them from a dig or from a roll???? Just wondering if what I did tonight was possible.....Rolling along and one comes up beside me...black w/tinted windows ....looked sweet as hell...from behind the exhaust looks very close to that of a 03/04 Cobra...but anyways..we ran three times from about 55....and it was pretty even each time with neither of us pulling away...I couldn't hear the SRT's exhaust cuz the windows were up....and just so you know all I have is a LM catback.....seem right to everybody else????

FWIW there was one that got into the 12s (12.9 but that's likely a factory freak) so they aren't exactly slow.
Our local dealer just sold the one they had, I'm hoping to get a race with it, (hoping they bring it to the local track)just to see how I do

They're right around the ls2 gto area, with the edge to the gto. Not dogs, but HEAVY and pretty pricey for what they are. ~10k more than a comparable GTO.

Agreed, they do look badass though.

Running in the high 12's is becoming more common for stock 300/Charger SRT-8's. A look at there dyno's shows they were underrated at 425 hp. There's a guy over on chargerforums.com that only had his Charger SRT-8 for a week before he went to the track and ran a 12.9 at 108 stock and the motor is not even broken in yet. Also they have a top speed of over 170 from the factory. A few guys have a already hit 160+.

Ive been reading on a few srt 8 boards and lot of them are starting to hit 12s pretty easy best being a 12.7 "stock", they sure have the power to do it and I also believe there a quite a bit quicker the the LS2 GTO!

LS2 GTO < Charger

They are both pigs, one just has more oomph than the other, and from what I hear, dodge finally made a good auto tranny...

I ran one from a roll on the interstate, I was at about 65 he was pulling up in the other lane probably doing about 70-75, we both punched it as soon as he came alongside, he pulled about three quarters of a car on me and then we hung even till I shut down at about 120... due to the wifey SCREAMING at me to slow down. I am BONE stock, by the way.

I hope that was why... honestly I don't think we should be afraid of those cars they may have way more power but they also have way more weight... I kind of felt like I should have pulled him more... oh well.

EDIT I guess I mean to say I felt like I should have been able to pull him at ALL...
