Default LS2 w/ Kenne Bell.

Its only 700 "engine HP", but not too bad. BIG MONEY. This can help that I can put a blower on an LS1 argument. Now you can, for the price of an 03 Cobra! You can break 700 "rwhp" with the 4.6 too. Sweet *** looking LS2 though!

eh?

What argument, people have been adding FI to LS1's for years. Many people have made BIG power with centrifugal blowers and even more with turbo setups. Twin screws and Roots blowers aren't as common as they are a b*tch to fit under the cowl on an Fbody. With an aftermarket bonnet you can fit them to C5 Corvettes though.

Yes, we're aware of that.

I believe he's responding to the morons who say "just give me a blower
on my LS1" when discussing '03 Cobras.

I would imagine a 2.4L KB on a low compression (built) LS2 at around
20psi on racegas would make around 800rwhp.

Yeah but,...when are these things available?.... All this hype for over a year or soo now. Are these kits actually available to buy NOW(not from turnkey engines, I mean from kenne bell themselves)?

I've only seen (heard of) one 'vette with a KB. That was probably the
prototype. Personally, I'd just go with a turbo kit. No point wasting
time & money on a blower.

werd.

I'm only interested for my Cadillac magnacharger customers. I'd rather install something with more capability then the mag.

One of our cars made 458 to the ground with full exhaust, and stock pulley. Another with almost the same mods and a MILD blower cam made 480 and change.

Guys I wasnt starting another Ford vs Chevy thread, I just happened to see it and thought Id pass it on. Turbo is a far better choice, but one of you guys may want a KB for your LS1, just showing you where to get it.
