Allright i have a friend that judt got new mustang gt with the 5spd in it. Hes done nothing to it bone stock, he thinks he can either beat me or be even with me, i have 02 ss with loudmoth, lid, new k@n airfilter, and short throw shifter. Every time i ask him if he wants to go he makes up and excuss, so i think he is bs all the way, what do you guys think?

I think Scott Settlemire said it best when he told me "in four years Ford still hasn't come out with a new body Mustang to beat the 4th gen Camaros." You still can't buy a Shelby mustang and it is freaking pathetic to think that a brand new 3700# Mustang only makes 285 RWHP at best.

You have a car that weighs 3600# full weight, has 300 HP average from the factory and you have it modified....go waste his *** so he can be prepared to sell that barge and buy a new Camaro when they come out.

Why do people keep insisting that a 2+2 four passenger pony car (Mustang Cobra) is some kind of direct competition for a 2 passenger all out sports car?? The Mustang and the Camaro/Firebird are the same genre of vehicles, PONY CARS, therefore they are direct competitors.
