you should better go to ls2gto.com and ask..
LS2 GTO's run low 14's/ high 13's around here, depending if racing against a LS1 or LT1

Don't know where that "low 14's to high 13's" came from.
Do some checking.
There's a couple fo those thing's stock that have touched 12's.

I think (could be wrong) that he was using sarcasm. Saying that this a f-bod heavy site so they aren't going to give the GTO's justice.

i was joking with the OP. that's why i said depending if the gto is racing an ls1 or lt1. i know what this cars would run first hand.
and no, is not low 14's to high 13's, but it would go from high 12's to mid 13's depending on driver/track conditions.

My car didn't hit 13's last time I went to the track, nor did the 2 other stock gto's that were out there. These cars run like complete crap in the heat and launch like **** with the IRS. Everytime I launched the car the rear end wanted to stay at the starting line and I'd have to completely get out of the throttle. My best trap wast 102.5, my buddies was 99.0 and the other guy could only manage 97 mph out of his.

There's a guy who races at the track i go to with an 06 blue GTO. He said he ran 13.1 @ 107 Stock. His car's in the workshop now getting a procharger on it. We'll see what he runs with That on it. He's hoping for mid to low 12's with a conservative tune. We'll see.

I saw an auto one go 13.9 at best at 101 and I saw a m6 car go 13.7 at 104 but that is the best those ls2's go around here.

It's because most of the people on here are back east, dunno what Density Altitude does to a car. There's also a few that probably haven't been to a track, and our mag racing. There's a plethora of people running 14's with 6.0 GTO's. I think the heat affects them immensely, as a buddy of mine ran back to back passes and lost I think he said lost 4 mph in the 1/4 mile Obviously the LS2 does not like heat (Like the 03 Cobras). When they are cool they can run a heckuva lot stronger.

I ran my buddies stock GTO and murdered him outta the hole, won by 4 car lengths. When we raced from a roll (After we had both cars sitting for over an hour) I barely beat him by a car and a half. I ran a 13.1 sec. @ 109mph in my car at 2000 ft. DA (Before gears), so I don't see them as a 12 sec. car. They definitely have power up top though, and i've heard are seriously detuned from the factory programming wise.

My brother has made several passes in his car with a best of 13.8 @ 104. His 60ft was a 2.3. It was wheel hopping like crazy. It was also 95 degrees outside in the sweltering heat/humidity of Louisiana.

I hate my GTO on the track, love it on the highway. I am used to my 99 Z so the Goat doesnt excite me out of the hole at all. It is a straight up pig until midway through second in my opinion. Best I got (it was hot out) is a 13.6 @ 103. Oh yea a 2.3 60' time. (All before the mods!)

Nice run, and very "not typical" of the GTO. It s amid 13 second car on average.

Meaning 8 out of 10 you see at th strip will run 13.5's.

Not hating, just keeping it real. I have seen gobs of them run. Seen one 12.9 with intake and cat backs, but he had DR's on.

I have a 2005 with just DR's and i ran 12.7 at 109, when it was 68 degrees out. This is what my time slip looks like.

R/T .... .286
60' ..... 1.932
330......5.410
1/8......8.248
MPH....86.86
1000...10.680
1/4.....12.740
MPH....109.83

The next run was backed up with a 12.8 @108. This was done at Atco on video, but i cannot upload.
