Will a 400 rwhp Gutted VW Beatle Beat a Stock C6 Z06 Hey guys just wondering if an old school gutted VW beatle with a swapped v8 making 400 rwhp and setup with a drag suspension, built tranny, built rear, and drag radials will beat a stock C6 Z06?

Since the Beatle is completely setup for drag it will put down all of its power and since your average V8 bug weighs like 2200 lbs or less, its the Beatle. If we get to put DRns suspension setup on the Z06 then its a very tough call. Im assuming its not the lame *** new Bug, but the RWD old one. Old school Bugs ran decent ETs long before everyone hopped on the sport compact thing. I bet on the Z06 over virtually any engine in any new Bug except maybe that Jet engined one. Maybe.
Of course, the Z06 can actually turn unlike a drag only Bug and will also make it home without killing its occupants.

why respond to these retarded posts? What if has not part in drag racing...period. "would a dragged out piece of **** that some broke dick looser has that is worth about $3000 beat a new stock $75000 car that is the nicest/fastest domestic car ever made?"

This is stupid. The bug should easily run mid 10's. Not a close race a all. Built for drag so I assume this is a dig race.
BTW SDB, not everyone is looking to spend $75,000 on a car to race. I sure as hell wouldn't. Unless I had money to no end.

Well lets see. My friends dad has a old bug with a v8, and when i raced him in my chevy truck with a v8, he won. But i couldn't drive the truck very good. and it was hot out. and he jumped a little bit so I am going to say the corvette, no wait the bug, yeah the bug will win.
