Default me vs. 350z and G35

I went to the movie tonight with my buddy and one of our chick friends and as we are walking up to buy our tickets a white 350z with "appearance mods" and a black Infinity G35 roll in the parking lot. My buddy and I start making jokes along the lines of "angry bees" and such...Then four guido russian kids get out the the cars and we joke a little more. I say to my buddy, "I hope they are seeing the same movie".

We go in and get our seats and sweet mother of Jesus they sit right behind us! Its on.... During the movie we make little jokes and talk about v8 power and kinda try to hint these kids we want to run.

The movie gets out and we hop in my truck and drive over to them. We sat there and bullshitted about racing and stuff and they were actually pretty cool guys. Turns out the Nissan has an intake and the g35 has a bunch of **** that one of the guys rambled off.. He asks me what I have done to my truck and he thought it was an SS, I quickly corrected him and said it was stock GMC 5.3 lol....and they weaseled out of me that I had a cone filter and dumped exhaust. Still keeping my secrets hehe

We headed out to a local racing spot and lined em up. First was me vs the 350z, it is an automatic along with the G35. My buddy drops his arms and we are off, I instantly pull a length on him to 30, by 50 he is slowly coming back, and by 80 he had me by one. Not to bad for what Ive got IMO. Next up was the G35. I pulled harder off the line and he go me by about 1/2 car to 80. They were impressed at how hard I got out of the hole, but never asked me what else I had done to my truck, so I never told them. I raced both cars twice with the same outcome and they lined up together twice and the 350z beat the G35 by a half car.

I need more mods..

That's pretty cool. Most people who actually mod the Z's and G's aren't too bad. Don't get me wrong...there are a lot of geeks but there's a few good guys. I have seen your kind of truck in action and they are quick! Sounds like with a few more mods you can possibly pull them by one or two cars.

Yeah I've got more in it than I told them. Bolt-ons and a cam/stall is what I have now, tuned with hptuners. Longtube headers will be here in a couple weeks along with a HSW nitrous kit. Ill put more than a couple on them lol. Im expecting low 13 high 12's by spring when the track opens again up here.

good runs, it takes one hell of a truck to keep up with 350s and on a 100 shot will be easy kills for you (if they are stock or just small bolt-ons)
