Got killed by a new Z06! Well, I got my wish and finally raced a new Z06. I was on Interstate 10 heading towards New Orleans from BR. I was stuck in traffic and while slowly moving through I worked up next to a new 2007 black Z06. We chatted while moving through traffic and when things cleared we got on it. We punched off from a 40 roll with me starting in 2nd gear. I pulled a little bit in 2nd and 3rd to have about a nose on the new Z. Then we both hit 4th and he rolled by me. All said and done I lost by about a car. The torque they have gives them a mean 4th gear!! We both pulled over at the next exit and chatted for a bit. The guy was really cool and had just got the car. It was still all stock with hardly any options.

the new Z06 is not to be taken lightly... that's for sure. at least the guy was cool about it! it's nice to see friendly races around here!
