Default Whopped a Hemi RAM Daytona in my sick bogging 9C1!

I was pulling out of the Sonic drive in and waiting to pull out onto the road last night .This dark orange or whatever color Ram Hemi Daytona with the wing on the back. Goes past and throws me a rev. I guess he hurried and up and popped it in neutral and back into drive to throw me his crappy weak hemi rev! Theres a red light up ahead so I proceed to go meet him there. My 9c1 has an intermitted bog sometimes but seems to run better at night. Knowing I have a low end bog, I knew I could just floor my car from a stop and get very little tire spin then it would catch. So I rolled my window down and he sees my glow in the dark pillar gauges
and ask if I had a blower or Nos. I told him that I just had an intake and exhuast. He said he was totally stock.

Then he asked in an arrogant way"You know how much power this truck has right? With a dumb smirk on his face. I said yea regular Hemi Rams have 345HP but you have the better exhaust daytona package with about 350-360HP. He said" Ohh okay you know your ****! I asked him if he wanted to run from the light he agreed. Light turns green and my car does exactly what I wanted it to, I floored it all the way and it bogged and caught with not too much tire spin while he was sitting there fighting for traction. I got about half a car on him by 30MPH then my car got into the power band and started pulling.

I kept about a car length on him all the way to 100MPH to the next red light!
Dumbass must have been so mad and embarrassed he didnt even stop at the red light he ran right through it.LOL That fool. I wanted him to stop at the light so I could tell him he just got beat by a 322,000 mile retired police cruiser with a sick old bogging intake and exhaust LT1.
Hemi Ram guys need to stick to towing and hauling stuff. I guess he thought his stupid looking Daytona wing and decals was gonna help him win.

lol what a tool!

When he said asked you if you knew how much power his truck had, you should have got all excited and said "Does that thang have a HEMI in it!?!"

There is a guy over on the truck forums who sells stickers that look like the "yeah, its got a HEMI" sticker, but they say "yeah, it'll beat a HEMI". I'm thinking about picking one up..lol

Silly dodge boys. The wing doesnt add 20 hp.

nice kill. Didnt I tell you your signature was too tall (giving you a hard time but is only supposed to be 150 pixels tall).

I see you exterior wise went for the SS look on your 9c1

I bet he would be double pissed when I found out your car had 300,000 miles on him!

One day on my way to work, I was almost hit by this reject in a HEMI charger... Come on dude, you get one lane turning right, like I get one lane turning left... Anyways, he tried to get in front of me... but I feel my 12 year old caddy held its own. It was only a 30mph zone, and we were doing 60 when I slammed the brakes to turn in, he only had 1/2 a car on my intake/exhuast/valve spring LT1... Felt it wasn't worth a new thread.

Nice kill. I raced my buddies Impala SS and 60k miles with my Dodge 4x4 diesel. I beat him by nearly 2 lengths to 70 and was still creeping on him. I was just as surprised as he was. Once again...nice kill

You should do some more research, there's more to the hemi than just the heads.

Woot, nice kill, lol. there's morons in every crowd.

But there are quick ones that run high 14s stock, and that wing I think is stupid. You don't think it was quick for carring 5000 pounds?

Out of curiousity, what would of happened if he caught traction.

Ya?? Well why dont you do the research for me, thanks in advance!

Edit: Hince the name "Hemi" which derived from Mopar's Hemispherical heads..You gonna tell me the block is a revolutionary design too?and that how they make their power. The modern hemi is a marketing tool..

No response is needed, thanks!

Who cares a car length is a car length he couldnt close the gap at all.
I have driven hemi equipped rams and yes the hemi 5.7 engine does pull those trucks around pretty well for its power and displacement. Now Im sure if it were a single cab hemi than it might have been different.

I just happened to be driven thee ole 9C1 that night, its my cruiser chill car, that just so happens to eat hemi trucks and other various rice and early 5.0 and 4.6 mustangs. If I really wanted to race I could just hop in my LS1 Z!

Nice kill on the moron. Cool, ya beat a 15 second truck. I have a Big Horn 4X4 with the Hemi and it's good to about 80, where it falls on it's face. Not too bad for a truck that weighs in at 6700 Lbs on the dump scale. Needless to say, I don't race the truck. I tow the race car with it.

I will agree with you on one point that the new HEMI is a current marketing tool. But along with that it is a very good engine with some pretty neat stuff. Yes it is a poly-head engine, did you know that actually gives it an immediate advantage over the 426 design when NA on pump gas? If you ever want to learn about HEMI's old or new PM me, Just don't dis it till you try it. And to the original poster-good kill! and sorry we got so far off topic.

^^ Correct me if Im wrong but I thought one of the main reasons why the new Hemi doesnt have true hemi heads because they are very poor in the emissions dept. I remember reading that even the new Hemis still arent the most emissions friendly engines and hence one of the reasons for the dual spark plug setup. Although i dont remember where I read that, so it could all be BS
