02-04 GT Owned... Going through traffic today I let a guy in a white 02-04 Mustang GT pull out in front of me off a side road. Instead of heading up the way I would normally go, I followed him toward the 4 lane hoping for a race. As soon as the 2 lane went to 4, he whipped into the left hand lane and black smoke billowed out his exhaust, which sounded awesome. I hit the left lane also, car in the right lane (mind you this was at 30mph) and I had to let off not 3 seconds later or I would have rear ended him. So I got off of it and waited for him to put enough space btwn him and the other car so that I could hit the right lane. I got back on it and passed him like a freight train. I pulled a good 4 cars on him by 110mph and shut down. We hit a red light a few seconds later and he pulled up beside me. I expected him to be a dick but he just had a smile on his face with his thumb up and said, "That is a fast car.." I told him that his car sounded awesome and he turned off. Cool guy, wish there were more like him.

Wow, I thought F-bod owners were the insecure ones, why ELSE would you need that much power
One mechanic ran me (jumped me actually from 1.5 cars ahead in an M6 TA) I floored it (in 2nd at 20mph) and proceeded to catch up and pass him. By 60ish he was making a strong comeback, but then a car pulled in front and we stopped. I signaled him to pull off at a school (after hours, just big parkinglot) to ask him WTF!? how did I win? and he kept going
I guess he was emberassed. I really should NOT! have pulled him, I ran low 14's @98.54 last time out. Tuned PIG RICH! but I am planning on going LS1 and it scared me that I beat one like that GOOD KILL ON THE MUSTANG! though!

A motor swap is very possible, but It would NOT have got me in the UPPER rpms, but rather the lower, if at all if it were an LT1. It was 110% new body style. I eye-raped it for a full minute at the stop light, lol.
