My 04 GTO vs Twin Turbo? Stealth..?
Yesterday I was driving home on a busy 4 lane city street and was kind of driving next to a Dodge Stealth 94-96 maybe? It had a emblem on the side that said "twin turbo" and it had aftermarket wheels on it...we obviously never raced on the busy 4 lane road, but I ran into him like 5 minutes later on the freeway...actually a 95-96 Impala SS was tryin to mess with me and I didn't run him...but THEN I see the headlights/foglights from the Stealth flyin up tryin to get in to the action...he was coming up in the right lane so when he passed me i punched it...i believe he was full throttle and he changed into my lane (the left lane) so i dropped into 3rd and was catchin him fairly quick...he then slowed down to about 65-70 and punched at again, i did the same and was right on his ***! Are these cars quick, cuz I was reeling him in on the first race, and he couldn't shake my GTO on the second one...

Im thinkin it was a twin turbo...cuz the car WAS fast. But even though the LS1 GTO isn't THE fastest car, it's pretty freakin fast...if it was just a v6 I woulda slaughtered him badly...

A '94 Stealth TT weighs in at high 3,7xx-low 3,8xx. The '95-'96 TTs lost AWS and weigh 3,6xx. The 1G TTs weigh 3,8xx. A stock 2G TT has 320 crank hp and 315lb ft torque. But they only put 240 to the wheels (26% drivetrain loss). Also, ALL Stealth TTs are V-6 (3.0L twin turbo V-6). The non-turbos are also V-6, but 220hp for the DOHC and 170hp for the SOHC.

it's awd, that's why it wasen't all that impresive off a roll. they are pretty quick from a stop though.
if i remember right they trap somewhere around 100mph? i beat 2 of them in my intake, cut out, lt1. they had me off the line of course, but when we sarted approaching higher speeds (3rd-4th) gear i would pull away.

Yeah...I noticed that my LS1 is fast off the line, but damn it seems faster the higher the rpms get! It seems to never stop pulling, it actually may pull harder the higher up i get? Maybe it's my imagination.
