Going up against a Evo 9?
This guy wants to run my TA at the end of the month his evo is bone stock he never ran the car before but he says it does low 13's. The fastest my car has run is a 13.3 on street tires and that's bone stock my TA has nothing to it so I'm planning on getting a lid and pacesetters with true duals by the time we race will I have enough to smoke'm? The bet is a grand and i'm tight on money to put a whole lot of mods within the car by 3 weeks. Oh and he said by then he too was gonna upgrade his exhuast. Again he has a 06 Evo 9 not a MR 9.

Well alright to start off I don't want you to lose money on my account. Anyway I've run one before (I don't know if it was stock or not) but my t-tops were off, windows down, I had crap in the back, my gf in the passenger seat AND I was FULLY STOCK down to the paper filter. We went from a red light and at 80 I had one car length on him (BARELY!!!) and we had to stop for traffic. Do what you wish with that info but whatever you decide goodluck.

$1,000 is a lot of money to bet.
I wouldn't race for more than $200.
You could win, yes, but you could also lose.
Don't let your ego make you lose a lot of money.
Think before you bet.
Also, there's the chance that he won't pay the money or come up with some BS after you win saying that he should've won and he wants to race again and that you should pay the money etc etc etc.
Also, he could bring some buddies with him and beat you up even if you win and take your money because he'll be mad that he lost and he'll think he deserves the money anyway.
Just be very careful.
$1000 is a lot of money, like I said, and betting that kind of money... he won't take losing lightly.

Drop as much weight as you can befor you do. Get an ALDL cable and do some quick tunes after you put in the LTs.
It's really hard to give a good comparison not knowing anything about your car. If we go off your name, I'd say you own a 95 Camaro SS, but you're saying a TA heh

ok well this is the race between evo9 non mr.
if you hook from a dig there is no contest( you about 2-3 lenths to 120mph), if you spin from a dig you play catch up until 60mph and mabye a lenth to 12o mph, if you spin bad from a dig you loose 1000 dollers
