me vs ricer cobalt Ok, so i drop my girl off at her house tonight around 12 and im heading home just cruising doing about 45 because its nice and cool out. So i make a right onto a major street and im grannying it trying to get good gas mileage (currently went 200 miles with 1/4 tank left 
, ok get to the point). I see these headlights up my *** and as soon as i make the turn this yellow ricer cobalt (not SS) with the most horrible sounding fart-pipe floors it and burns by me. usually this wouldnt even phase me but the two kids in it were like 16 so i know daddy just bought the car and the passenger gave me a look like "you just got burned." So i punched it from a 35-40ish and blew the doors off this thing. Unfortuneately for me i had to shut down because we caught the next light. The passenger's head is know hung very low and they wont even look over. I figured theyd had enough so i relax. Light turns green and to my surprise he punches it. I retaliate, wave bye bye, and put about 16 bus-lengths on them. Theyd finally had enough. I sort of felt like a dick but they provoked me and i do have to admit i was feeling pretty good about my basically stock ls1

I continue on home and catch another damn light. I look to my left and in the next lane over there is a black mecham trans am with black wheels. I must say, this thing looked pretty nice - all except the spoiler. I figured he might want to play as well. The light turned green and i was trying to get through traffic to line up with him when i noticed he had a-pillar gauges, one was a wide band o2. thats never a good sign. so i back off, let him get ahead of me and what do i see dangling from the rear bumper like a giant sack...STS turbo. so i wussed out and went home. Now i know i need a cam...and headers, and stall.

I spotted a black t/a with black rims and the whole Mecham package in Orlando. It also had a single exhaust pipe so I am assuming it was STS turbo'ed. I just noticed he has a gauge pillar as well. Could this be the same guy?

I don't care how fast it is, a single exhaust pipe on a Trans-AM is pretty retarded...at least put a fake one on the other side or soemthing.

When your near standed and spotting a sts turbo you had decided to play with before realising you then need to do the moon walk then 
Looking at the brakes on the Mecham,dont you guys upgrade your brakes with increased power levels, as those rotors and caliphers are small.
