Default 02 SS vs Magnum SRT-8 vs 335

So i was on my way home from my gf's this weekend and hoped on the freeway and just cliked the cruise control so i didnt have to pay too much attention. after a few minutes i saw some HIDs coming up on me and fast so i started to pay a little attention. This blue BMW blows by me and i read 335 across the back, so i figure lets see if those twin turbos actually make it fast. so i catch up to him and while im doing this i guess i pass a magnum cuz i see its mean *** headlights in my side mirror trying to catch me.
Anyways we all catch up to one another and are next to eachother going about 60. We all downshift it whatever gear and wait for someone to jump. The BMW takes the jump by about half a car and me and the magnum mash it. Instantly we pull back the half a car and put about 2 on him by about 85-90 so i think sweet easy 2 kills and i look over and the magnum is at my door!!! so i keep into it and pull him to 120 abd shut down with about a car and half.... that thing was no way stock!!!!

it sounded mean as hell but he got off the freeway so i couldnt see what was up with him. gave me a thumbs up at least.

anyone else run into a 335 yet?

Good runs! I have wanted to race a new TT 335....0-60 low 5 second range! Sounds like fun, or lunch, however you decide to view it!

Good run with the SRT8, I had a highway run with a silver SRT8 Charger on the way to SEMA a few week's back.

Damn thing stayed with us until we finally started creeping on it around 120ish (just about 1 car). I guess I might have fared better if I would have had the top up and no passenger...

Guy wouldn't roll window down at the offramp (same one as ours). I wanted to see if/what he had done.

Well, at least he's adhereing to Megan's Law.

Seriously, those 425hp 6.1L motors have a LOT in common, structurally, with the LSX series I have heard. The SRT8 cars dyno around 375 or so normally. THEY ARE NO JOKE EITHER! Heavy though...

SRT8s get smushed by geared, unheadered, six speed cars. I think you A4 guys gotta make the highway monster jump. 4.10s(broke too many) and 6 speed for the win on the highway. Then again, my car is also a stripper hardtop.

Good kills.
