Default ram srt-10 vs. my lt1 camaro

so im on my way to school when i look over and its one of those big *** srt-10 trucks. he looks at me and pushes on it a little to show me that he was interested in a race. so i gave him a nod and he slams it (we were going about 65) i hit it just a second late he starts passing me and smiles and waves to me but when he got about a 1/2 a car on me i started pulling and as i was passing i gave him a nice smile and wave and pulled a good car and a half on him. when we slowed down he gave me the most pissed off look that ive ever seen lol.

i have a k&n CAI, dynomax exhaust, hypertech tune and some goodies in my a4 (shift kits etc.)

I believe the SRT-10 is just a 2 door. To my knowledge, it doesn't have a 4 door model.

the SRT-10 is available with the 4 door option, but they only come in an Auto. you can get the 2 door standard or auto.

Sounds like some fishy stuff. More details are needed. What speed did you run to? The 2 door models should still pull your car and not get walked by a mustang as long as the driver knows what he is doing. Nice runs anyway.

the 2 door is respectable about a tenth or two quicker than an 04 lightning. the 4 door is a waste of money in my opinion for the $$ i would rather have the cummins than the V10.

I lost by 5' to a single cab SRT10 in my 5.0. I pulled an A5 05+ GT by 1-2 cars 70-100.

Problem is learning to launch with the stick. The guys are now running high 12s low 13s with stock single cab. Check out some of the forums. The extended cabs run low to mid 13s.

I saw on on one of the SRT forums that the best so far stock was like 12.76 or something along those lines. Most of the 4 doors were getting closer to 13.5, but some guys were doing better.

Maybe my sentence ran on a tad but anyone with some reading comprehension ability should have been able to figure out the point. I will make things a little clearer from now on.
