Default 2 street races in one day....

1.
So, I was on my way down this nice straight patch of 2 lane highway on the way to meet up with a friend to go to the last track day of the year. So, of course im already pretty pumped and ready to race. i look in my rear view mirror and notice a honda hatch painted BRIGHT *** YELLOW coming up on me. i let him get a few cars ahead and didnt plan on racing him. i see this puff of black vtec smoke come out of the gigantic fart can, so i go. at this point i was about 4 cars behind him and i was going 60, i'd estimate he was doing 80+ WOT. i stand on the gas pedal and fly by him at 130 and he gives this disgusted look like i just **** in his cheerios. so i get in front of him and resume the speed limit.....only to be "suprised" by a classic ricer flyby. not a challenging race but just a good one to get the blood flowin for the track

2. so me and my buddy (who has an ls1 ss) are on our way to the track. we see a black BEAT looking integra and proceed to rev it up a little so he knows we wanna have some fun. we both took our turns racin him anywhere from 50-140 and i am going to be man enough to admit he pulled on me...not real bad, but noticeably. it turns out he was a really cool dude, huge turbo (57trim t3/t4) and a pretty light car with sticky tires. my buddy pulled on him a good bit but he also has 4.10's etc and its an m6.

Not the best racing story, but i felt it was only right to admit i lost one.

You need a good stall to match those gears and cam. You wont get near all the potential out of that cam without one. Cam+Stall+Tune= happy LS1 and shredded tires, unless you have some DRs

yes, sadly the mods are just sitting in my basement waiting to be installed. makes me sad every time i do laundry haha. yea i think im going to go with a semi small converter (3000-3200). i had the cam designed to be able to run good with a stock converter. it will of course run better with a bigger one though. that integra, annnnd the cobra that spanked on me at the track are BOTH motivation

def. do the stall, I had my 224/228 581/588 113 in w/ stock converter and it was nothing but problems. so I took it out until I can do the stall hopefully this winter. I'm gonna go with the Vig 3200 (flashes to 3600 supposedly)
