Default camaro VS transam

I am just curious as to wether the camaro is faster than the transam? sure they are practically the same right must be something different performance wise right. Any ways the camaro is the better car of the two

ok wow lets not start division amongst our own kind! Wtf... they are equal in my eyes. I like the look of the trans am a bit better and i like their interior better, but I see a camaro and treat it like its my own kind... its bad enough that there's division between mustangs and us... should be a division between countries, american vs import

the camaro is faster because it has less letters (6) and it weighs less due to this rather than the trans am (8 if you include the space) which is much heavier and less aerodynamic. If you look the air goes easily over the C where as the T pretty much blocks air from traveling past that - making it slower.

A Camaro is like a red headed step child, you're scared to bring it out in public but thier always ready for a good beating!

not all t/a's are ram air just the ws6 but the camaro has the ss which is also ram air so really its a moot point, and the ram air's differece in negligible anyway making the point even more moot i guess. lol

being the owner of an SS, I think their looks cannot be topped. but i read that WS6's are just a little bit faster than the SS, this was in HOTROD magazine. but that was stock for stock, and you rarely see a stock F-body. Anyways, lets keep the American cars on the same side.

A Trans Am is faster than a Camaro, but just as fast as a Z28. I love TAs like I do Z28s, but I think TAs are overstyled where-as Z28s are understyled.

I prefer TAs, but the girlfriend wanted me to drive a Z so that's what I got. It's obvious that I really don't care what body style carries my LS1.

Z28's and Trans Am's are about equal, but the Ram Air has about 60 more horsepower because the hood sucks air into the engine and it has a bad *** exhaust and a WS6 chip. The SS is actually the slowest of all because the fake hoodscoop hurts aerodynamics.
