Default M6 pulled My LT'd A4 after like 95mph!!!

Well me and my buddy (SStewy) were rolling at like 20mph then we both hit it at the same time. We were neck and neck up until bout 95mph and he started to pull away. I've got Stuff in sig but i have the stock stall back in it for now. He's got a SLP 2000 SS. My cars untuned with straight headers and some weight reduction, does this sound bout right?

Oh and just for reference the True duals are not on the car right now, and i was off the bottle ofcourse. I think if i was tuned it would be a different turn out, im still on the stock tune

yes, tune helps tremendously. although when my car got tuned, it was a FI tune, so it helped me a lot more.

Sounds right to me, M6's are a little faster than autos (in most cases). Get a tune and the stall back and it will make a huge difference. BTW, why did you go back to the stock stall in the first place? That will REALLY help you top end.

hell yeah, a tune is a BIG help if done right. dont settle for a 20 min on the spot tune. have them street tune it for you. i RARELY dyno tune my car. i run it on the street, then thats where its getting tuned damnit.

With the converter and the MS4, if you don't rape him something is seriously wrong. I'm anxious to hear your review on that combo. I plan on putting an MS4 in later this year after I get the new tranny and SS4000 installed. Keep us posted.

your asking if your (soon to be) cammed car will be able to pull a stock cammed/M6 car on the top end? i think that might be an easy answer..

well im hoping im running in the 7's in the 1/8 with the cam and stall and the LT's. What ya'll think? I ran an 8.74 @84mph stock and now ive taken out back seats and also the rear bumper support thing so maybe 60 lbs. If any of you have an M6 what do you trap in the 1/8?

If your not in the 7s (1/8th) after the cam, stall and tune then something is wrong. My best this summer was 7.71, and even that was traction limited. With the M/Ts I still couldnt hook good out of the hole. My cam specs are in my sig, I dont know how they compare to the MS4 though. Ron

Ya your cam is almost the same as the MS4 just the intake lift is .649 to your .609. Well i've never did a cam swap so i dont know what to expect, is a seat of the pants feeling or what?
I know the best mod so far is the torque converter, that was the best seat of the pants feeling. Well right under the nitrous ofcourse.

sounds good to me, if it gets me a race with another car THINKING its a grand prix then its all over j/k

although i love the fact that i dont have that much "look" on my car. just headlights and clear corners and my grill. and people dont notice the ET Streets on the back or the F1's on the front and still on stock rims. by the time they realize what i have its all over
