Default C5 vs C5

Driving home from San Jose on 101 south I am in the fast lane going about 75-80 miles an hour traffic was medium.........I take a quick peek in the rear view and I see this black C5 coming up from behind really fast I move over one lane and he pulls next to me and slows down to my speed I down shift to 4th gear going about 70 and than he guns it I react a split second late he has about a 1/2 car on me by the time I get to about 5000 rpms I have pulled him by 1/2 a car than I had to brake due to traffic ahead in my lane. He stays on it and never slowed down. He was weaving in and out of traffic. Man, I wanted to chase him down and really see what he had but the traffic got real heavy........it left a bad taste in my mouth that we could not finish what was started.

Thats where I plan to take my C6 eventually. They quoted $8500 for a H/C setup w/tune,long tubes, supporting bolt-ons. Rick (which is top notch there) mentioned I would get 480 to the wheels with that setup. Are you a member of Santa Clara Corvettes?

Do you have 410's in the car? If not you should have started in third, would have got him much better.

Had some tool do that to me in one of those supercharged Range Rovers, he takes off with a car in front of me like 1 car length ahead and starts weaving in and out up the road. I wanted to walk his ***, but he fled like a coward.

nothing wrong with being a modalcoholic. I've put 7k into my vette, 12K into my monte and I gave my bro 7k to mod his camaro. Many more mods to come.

I wouldn't brag about going to Synergy, but to each there own.

Personally, there is no way in Hell he is touching my Vette after what he did to the wife's Camaro.

Uh-oh. That's not good. I know your probably not into publicly discussing your problem with a motorsports shop on the open forum. But I am really interested in what happened since I was planning a visit there later this year with my C6.

Please send me a PM!!!

Actually, Rick and I had it out on another Board and I don't want to bring that here! Especially since he is a sponsor here. I will just say use who you have trust in, and if it is Synergy, then I do wish you all the best.
