Me vs. 07 GTI So I;m coming ome from the beach today, feeling prett good, the car is nice and shiny, its sunny out, im thinking hell ya... well then i see this GTI and im thinking haha im going to have a little fun now
so the gti sees me and starts to slow down, and im thinking nice this guy is game!!
well we get next to eachother kinda look over the other persons car, give eachother the nod and downshift to all hell
three honks and mash it and i look over and he is still at my door, and we are in first at abou 30 and that never happens.... and then i hear it... the hissing of a very angry turbo, and it is loud, very loud... so im thinking **** im going to lose this... but he isnt going anywhere so im thinkging nice!!! slam second and pull anout 3/4 of a car, hit 3rd and pull to almost a car and a half then shut down due to traffic
talked to him at the next light his mods were
Turbo at 22 lbs
full exhaust
intake
dyno tune
and some other thing idk wut the hell it was tho
real cool guy said it was the first time he had ever lost, and i believe it with how fast that car was

Cool story dude. I like some of your phraseology: "downshift to all hell".. very nice. I ran that close with an older GS-T ecplise.... its always fun to be suprised.

Great cars!!! I had a 2004 with APR software, diverter valve, Turbo inlet pipe etc. The car was very qiuck for what it was. My wife was very pissed when I traded it in for the Formula. She used to beat the **** out of it when she was driving.

Yup i had the APR 93 octane program, bailey DV, and an AEM air intake......sweet car. little booger was quick.
