00 ws6 vs lt1 t/a (killin my own kind) Once again, on my way home, i'm following sscamaroburn02 (best friend/work guy basically) and i see the lights get on my ***, i knew it was an t/a. I'm behind sscamaroburn02 and the t/a gets in the lane to the right of us at the light. Now I can see the car, i know the year model and engine it has. so we all turn left, now he's beside me so i tease a lil bit, i floor it first gear and light the streets up for a few seconds. And of course, he jumps behind me to follow us to the highway, i get on the highway and run the hell out of my car, and pass by sscamaroburn02. I look in my rear view and saw that the t/a had caught up to him and they were side by side, but due to recent rear end problems, he couldn't race. So, this dude finds his way back to me, so i drop to 3rd and wait he pulls up beside me, I look over, his girl's STARIN. So, now he's ready to race, honk 3 times and floor it from 70. I think i let off 130ish. I had so many car lengths it wasn't even funny. I think just being a bad driver added length to the kill. So he follows me on my exit, asks what i have in my car, states the obvious "your too fast, I can't keep up man"! I asked what he had, he didn't even call it an LT1. He said "it's just the basic v8 in it". Wow, So we talked while the light stayed red and then parted ways. I love racing, but I'm not too into killing my own kind. 
I know it should've done better than what it did ( I think)

"The basic V8"? WTF exactly is a "basic V8"? Sounds like he's driving the wrong car. It irks the crap out of me when people don't refer to their engines properly when asked.
