460 whp cobra vs s14 sr powered 240 the other night a guy i know brought out his 98 cobra vert. He was trying to get anyone to race him for money. He is procharged with bolt ons. I guy i know with a 240 showed up, he is sr20 powered with an upgraded turbo, not sure what kind. Well chris with the 240 wouldnt put money on it but the took it to the highway. They went from a stop. The s14 got a great take off, and the mustang didnt. The mustang was all over the road through second gear, by the time it was over the chase car i was in (a bolt on stock turbo sr20 s13) was over 120 mph and they were about 1 1/2 buses ahead of us. The 240 won by like 2 cars. The mustang caught up and passed him at about 60 or 70 mph and then when he switched gears the 240 jumped a couple of cars ahead, where they pretty much stayed until about 140 mph probably, and they shut it down. Awesome race
