So im visiting Orange County CA. and I ended up going to the races well i have a 99 SS SLP loudmouth exhaust lid and 275 yokohama tires all around thats it.... well we ended up meeting up with some fast cars there is a 2004 i believe dodge neon srt4 modded up the *** i mean straigh exhaust, upgraded ecu, hks down pipe hks titanium turbo exhaust system its pretty modded up well i just say, "nice car man" and hes like no i dont wanna race, he straight clowns me in front of all my friends and says i already know what my car can do. Im like so you think you can take me and he says i know i can take you... im starting to get upset cause hes just talking smack so all i say is well just get in your car man and lets set something up. We end up racing we launch and were completely even i hear his blow off valve going off him shifting into second and im still in first. once i shift into second i get a 1/4 car then just cruise upto a car and hitting third i got him beat by one car after the race i go over to him and say "way to call it man" and just leave his friends start clowning....... just wanted to know anyone else got any good stories about people dissing the ss and eating there words or any good race stories sounded like a good thread to start... lets here em thanks guys

They are ugly, but it would take more than a bolt-on LS1 for me to talk **** to all the SRT4 owners I know but 1. Most run 11's @ 117+ and a couple still are in the low 12's.

i hate srt-4 punks they just bc they can run in the 13's with few mods they think they have enough torgue and being front wheel drive doesn't help either. you may put thousands of $$$'s into a neon and get it to run 11's but its still a NEON.

i doubt it. he doesnt say anything about a "track", he just says the "races". a lot of people refer to the local street racing spot like that. i suppose he could mean this was at a real track, but, its ambiguous and he doesn't talk about ANYTHING that has to do with a track.... just lining up and racing. since he doesn't refer to anything about a track (like giving times....), i assume this is a street race. i cant imagine this was at a track and he didn't give a time.

i could be wrong though, but, i doubt it.
