1998 Trans am vs. 2002 ss
I have talked to this guy several time before tonight . Very cool guy. we just happen to meet at a redlight and start talking. the light goes green and we both just roll out. I was noit going to make the move. So i shift into second, and he gets on it. we are both around 30, i jump on it i get aBOUT HALF A CAR LENGHT GOING INTO THIRD. I WAS REALLY SURPRISED. I SHIFT INTO FOURTH STILL AROUIND 1/2 LENTHG AHEAD , THEN IT HAPPENS I HIT THE REV LIMITER. YEAH IT SUCKS MY FIST REAL RACE AGAINST A F-BODY AND I SCREW IT UP. SORRY GUYS LOL

yeah. I am really proud of my car. It did really well last night, but it cant make me shift into that gear right lol..
Well i guess next time.
I think it had alot to do with the fact that i was glowing with the fact i was actually winning

Why is that surprising? An LS1 is an LS1. It should have been a close race...The LS6 intake doesn't really make a huge difference until you start going pretty fast. Even then, the healthier car wins.

From what I've seen the 01-02's dyno around 10-15 more to the wheels than the pre 01's. However, his being an A4 and yours being an M6 could easily make up for that and then some from a roll. Good race, you'll get him next time!
