Anyone Ever Race A Bmw M3?
I raced one a few years ago back in philly. it was mint green. prob a 2002 or so.
anyways he had a full house in his car and i only had 3 in mine with the t tops off. we went on a green light. we went for about 3 blocks and i only beat him by little more than a car length. I had a 2000 WS6 m6 with cat back and air lid at the time.
the M3 was A LOT faster then i thought i was.

Ran a mid 90s manual M3 a while back. Smashed him from like a 50-100mph roll by maybe 2-3 cars. We then approached the twisties that I would never take at over 80mph cause you can hear the tires slipping at that point, I've done it. This fool didn't even slow down, those things have crazy handling. Good kill, but damn lay off on the racing with passengers. That would have been one sick crash if either of you fucked up.

I remember a few years back when I just bought my 1994 A4 TA there was a newer one at my college and after reading up on them I was afraid to race it. They supposedly trap around 105-107mph so I knew that he smash my stock LT1. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting up with one since getting and modding my LS1 though

I had a bone stock 2004 auto c5..My buddy bought a bone stock 2004 M3 a month later..
We raced may times on the street from low rolls with me always having 3-4 lengths on him by 100 mph..
At our local drag strip. My best bone stock time was 13.5 at 103 mph. his best bone stock time was 13.9 at 99 mph.
BUT 90% of the Fbody's in my local LS1 club ran 13.7-13.9 at 100-105 mph...So especially for the auto Fbody's they can be a decent challanger with the nod still going to the auto fbody

The e46 M3's have great interior and handle very well. IMO a little underpowered for the money..The new ones are getting a 400hp V8 though..This will be interesting.

there's a lot of high end cars from companies like bmw, mercedes, etc. that are getting more and more powerful every year. fantastic reason to keep modding your fbod
