Mustang Cobra question???
This is probably a stupid question, but I see a lot of guys in here giving major props to the 2003/2004 Cobra. What makes this year model Cobra so much better than the others? I have always been an F-Body guy, and don't really know much difference between all of the Cobra.
Sorry, I know this is the Street Racing section, but I wasn't sure where to ask this question. Plus I always see a lot of Mustang guys in this thread.
Thanks

Actually it will handle even more than 650whp. With basic bolt ons they can easily make 500+ whp. By next summer I'll be going TT and I'll still keep my motor stock, hoping for 700+whp with stock block, so not bad.

With bolt-ons, a pulley swap and 19 PSI of boost, they will make about 600-700rwhp no problem. Pretty much they are LS1 killers.

Thanks for all the answer's guys. I am looking for a new toy soon, and I have never been a huge Mustang fan, but I have read so much about these '03 Cobra's, I might just have to give one a shot (I hope I don't get slammed for that one... ).
Sounds like you can make there put down serious power without to much effort.
Of course the LS1 will also stay in the stable.

So I guess my other choice of a Honda with an exhaust tip as big as a basketball is out of the question then.....

So is it all '03/04' Cobra's, or only certain ones? And if only certain one's, how do you tell the difference? I would have to do a lot of research before buying one since I don't know much about Snakes!
