camaro vs camaro my dad has an 71 big block camaro.a guy pulled up behind us in his ss but dont know what upgrades he has except for an slp exhaust.he got traction and we didnt.his was a 6 speed.my dads car is a 3spd auto.we spun first and second then he started to pass us,then we hit third and we were gone.but what upgrades could he have done to keep up with us.dads car is pushin 425rwhp.it was a good race.not from a dig.from like 20mph.

He could have just had exhaust and nothing else. You said that he had traction in first and second and you didn't. If you pulled away hard once you got traction then it makes sense that you had alot more hp than him and if you're making 425 then he probably had 300-350 which makes him a bolt-on car at best. If he had heads and a cam then you wouldn't have walked away up top.
