Default Ran a GTO!

siiting in the turn lane the guy pulls up next to me for a second and throws a rev so i follow in suite and pull behind him. We were rolling and he talked to me a lil, gave me props on my car before we raced and said he was pissed his car only had 12,000 miles and no back tires and did not get the best gas mileage.( as i think to myself isn't the reason to buy the car for performance) Any who we rolled from 30 to 75 with me two cars in front. It was a 04 i assume cuz of single exhaust on the left, his mods i think were just a catback it was loud. I'm pretty sure he was a auto to. He waved me off and went on his way cool guy not a bad day for the s/c balt.

a lot here it goes... 2.5 s/c pulley, 60# injectors, hp tuners, modified air box, tranny mounts, control arm bushings, hurst sts, dual pass heat exchanger still running stock one as well, dual pass intercooler endplate, two surge tanks for coolant, stage 4 six puck ceramic clutch, step colder plugs, still on stock exhaust though.

Good kill. Are you from Macomb, IL? If so, I may have to come up there sometime and check you car out since I'm only like 40 minutes away. I haven't seen any modded balts around here. Maybe I'll con Kingsnake99 into takin his Cobra up there and we could run 'em.

Great post and great kill. Had it to the track yet? The automatic 04s are a tenth or so faster than the M6 cars, so that was a great run on your part.

i can't get any 6.0's to bite on a race yet. should be close i trapped 105 on a slipping clutch, a heatsoaked blower , with no preping left it the way it was on the street. Funny enough this guy did not overlook me he said he new balts could be qiuck and he wanted on to but lots of people do especially when you take off the rediculous spolier.

Your kidding me right. it depends on the driver of both the stock cars a 1/10 could be made up easily in a m6 by a real driver and a better launch . Lets say if both had drag radials which you think would be faster ?

Not so, fastest M6 GTO is way off the pace of the A4s. one GTO forum I go to has top et/trap lists and no M6 in top ten, except the fastest M6 list.

The LS2 GTO autos are the ones giving the M6 problems. The know alot of people in the LS1 GTO A4's that struggle to get out of the 14's stock.
