Default Killed an Evo and WRK

About a week ago after leaving the gym i saw an Evo and plenty of road to run. First run was from about 50, I let him get the jump then hit hard in second. Spun um up a bit but instently put about a car on him. I shut it down at the top of third and had about 4 cars on him, he was stock. Second run was the same result but i looked over to him when i hit it and seen a shocked look on his face, i guess he never heard a TD open exhaust before . Next race was that that night; red WRX - exhaust, BOV from what i could tell. i thought it would be another easy kill since it wasn't an STI. WE hit it from about 80 and he was on my door and staid there! So we slowed down to 50 and i honked 3 times i slowly put about 3 1/2-4 cars on him up to 140 or so. Seconed run i let him honk and it was the same result. The guy just fell behind every time he shifted losing boost. he was kinda pissed because he probably thought he was going to get me after the fist race, but still gave me a peace sign. He might of got me if it was frim a dig. Fun runs though I haven't had a race in a while.

race them from a dig that's always fun. I was able to stay door to door with an sti through first gear (suprisingly I guess I launched the **** out of the cobra) than it wasn't pretty.

Nice runs. No doubt the WRX wasn't running the stock snail.

I didn't think so because it pull pretty hard under boost. As soon as he shifted thats when he would fall back and i would put some ground on him. Do WRK's have a short 3rd because thats when he stayed with me, then he quickly shifted again before i went into 4th. They must have some aggresive ratios.

Pretty aggressive gearing for nice 0-60 or 1/4 times. Regular sedan-ish gearing after that.

No.. 3rd in the WRX will take you from 65mph to 85mph. If he shifted quick in 3rd it might be a 6mt swap (STi tranny). The 6mt is very short gears and build to rally and keep the motor at high rpm so you can keep in boost.
